objectToDirectory
|
The objectToDirectory function converts the arguments {source} into
a Directory returning the new Directory. If there are two arguments, such as {vector1} and {vector2},
the items from both vectors are paired to form a Directory. If there are two arguments,
and they are a combination of Structures, Dictionaries, or Directories, the values of
the first argument are updated with the values of the second argument, only when the
keys match. If the object is already a Directory, it is returned unchanged. When to use The objectToDirectory function is used to convert a Vector, Structure, or
Directory object to a Directory object. The objectToDirectory function is
also useful for key-based merge and update of an existing Directory, using the
key-value pairs from a collection object such as a Structure or Dictionary.
A Vector object may also update the values of an existing Directory.
(objectToDirectory obj) A new Directory object.
