Description

When the input to eval is a quoted list, invoking eval is equivalent to reducing the quote count by one as shown in this example.

 

Details

(eval ''(+ 1 2 3)) Returns: #<Pair 123456>
(display #<Pair 123456>) Returns: (+ 1 2 3)
(eval (eval ''(+ 1 2 3))) Returns: 6

Notes and Hints

If the eval function is passed a List as an argument, it is assumed that lexing has already taken place. Furthermore, the List must be the type returned by _parser, which is a List enclosed within a List.
