Description

This example shows the saveRepository function create a new child repository inside the parent Object Repository.

 

Details

Specify the name of the Parent ObjectRepository.

(setq gor (new ObjectRepository: "phrases.db")) Returns: #<ObjectRepository 123456>

Install a key and value in the parent Object Repository.

(setq gor["one"] "Hello world") Returns: #<ObjectRepository 123456>

Reference the key in the parent Object Repository.

(ref gor "one") Returns: Hello World

Create a new child repository inside the parent Object Repository gor where the child repository is 1000 bytes long.

(saveRepository gor Terminators: 10000) Returns: #<ObjectRepository 123456>

Install a key and value in the child repository.

(setq gor.Terminators["one"] "Goodbye world") Returns: #<ObjectRepository 234567>

Reference the child repository. Returns the Object Id of the child repository.

(ref gor Terminators:) Returns: #<ObjectRepository 234567>

Reference a key in the child repository.

(ref (ref gor Terminators:) "one") Returns: Hello world

Notes and Hints

After the saveRepository, we have a nested index of conversation terminator phrases. This is a separate nested child repository from the parent repository.
