subscribe
|
The subscribe function redirects a copy of the console output from another session to the console tab in
this session's form. This function is useful for observing the console output from events that run on the System Context session.
This console output would not otherwise be shown. The first argument is the session ID of the session whose console output
is to be redirected to the current session. The System Context Session ID is always 1. Set the second
optional boolean argument to true to remove an existing subscription from the specified session ID. This function should not be confused with a Server Form subscription that allows a Server form to view the console log
of one or more sessions running on a server. This capability is not accessible from aisLisp. When to use Use the subscribe function to subscribe to the console output from another session.
(subscribe sessionID remove) ErrorCode. Returns 0 if no error.
Here are a number of links to Lambda coding examples which contain this instruction in various use cases.
Here are the links to the data types of the function arguments. Here are also a number of links to functions having arguments with any of these data types.
You can always talk with the AIS at aiserver.sourceforge.net.
