isObject
|
The isObject Function returns true if the argument {obj} is an Object;
otherwise, false is returned.
When to use The isObject function is used to query a variable or constant to determine
if it is an Analytic Information Server object data type. The isObject
function will return true if the object is one of the following:
Symbol (Unquoted or Quoted), List, Pair (Unquoted or Quoted),
Vector (BitVector, IntVector, FloatVector, NumVector, SmallVector,
ObjVector, PcodeVector), Matrix (BitMatrix, IntMatrix, FloatMatrix, NumMatrix, SmallMatrix,
ObjMatrix, PcodeMatrix), Structure, Dictionary, Directory, Repository,
Brick, Lambda.
(isObject obj) Boolean value true if the object is an Object, otherwise false is returned.
Here are a number of links to Lambda coding examples which contain this instruction in various use cases.

Here are the links to the data types of the function arguments. Here are also a number of links to functions having arguments with any of these data types.
