isCharWhitespace
|
The isCharWhitespace function returns true if every character in
the argument {obj} is a white space character (ASCII codes 0 thru 32).
Some examples of white space are #\tab, #\space, #\newline, etc.
Otherwise, the isCharWhitespace function returns false.
When to use The isCharWhitespace function function is used to query an object to see
if it contains only whitespace characters. The whitespace characters are:
#\backspace The ASCII backspace character #\escape The ASCII escape character #\newline The ASCII newline character #\page The ASCII form-feed character #\return The ASCII carriage-return character #\backspace The ASCII backspace character #\rubout The ASCII delete character #\space The ASCII blank character #\tab The ASCII tab character
(isCharWhitespace obj) If the object contains only whitespace characters, true is returned. Otherwise false is returned.
Here are a number of links to Lambda coding examples which contain this instruction in various use cases.

Here are the links to the data types of the function arguments. Here are also a number of links to functions having arguments with any of these data types.
