Example NumMatrix comparison functions 023

 

 

Description

These examples use the comparison functions to do a case-sensitive comparison of two objects of the same type. A Boolean value is returned.

 

Details

Both NumMatrices are equal.

(= #(nummat| 12.32 42.01) #(nummat| 12.32 42.01 )) Returns: true

The value of the first NumMatrix is greater than the value of the second NumMatrix.

(< #(nummat| 12.32 42.01) #(nummat| -12.32 42.01 )) Returns: false

The value of the first Matrix is lesser than the value of the second Matrix.

(> #(nummat| 12.32 5.34) #(nummat| 12.32 42.01 )) Returns: false

Notes and Hints

If you prefer an integer resulting from the comparison (0 for equal, -1 for less than, and 1 for greater than), use the compare function.
