Example Matrix remove 005

Description

This example defines a Matrix and uses the remove function to non-destructively delete a value. If the value does not exist in the Matrix then the same Matrix is returned unchanged.

Details

(setq Z #(mat| "Now" "is" "the" "Time") ) Returns: #<Matrix 123456>

Removes the specified value and copies the result to a new Matrix.

(setq A (remove "Time" Z)) Returns: #<Matrix 234567>

Displays the modified Matrix.

(display A) Returns: #(mat| "Now" "is" "the" )

The original Matrix still remains unchanged.

(display Z) Returns: #(mat| "Now" "is" "the" "Time")

The value "Today" is not found in Matrix Z.

(setq A (remove "Today" Z)) Returns: >#<Matrix 345678>

If the value is not found, the Matrix remains unchanged.

(display Z) Returns: #(mat| "Now" "is" "the" "Time")
