Example CpxVector compareLE 020

 

 

Description

These examples use the compareLE functions to compare a Complex Vector with a Complex Number and another Complex Vector. A Boolean value is returned.

 

Details

A Complex Number is defined.

(setq X #c1.0+2.0i) Returns: #<Complex 123456>

The Complex Number is compared with a Complex Vector containing the same value as the complex number.

(setq Y #(cpx| 1.0 2.0)) Returns: #<CpxVector 123456>

The Complex Number has lesser value than the Complex Vector.

(compareLE X Y) Returns: true

The first complex vector is defined.

(setq A #(cpx| 1.0 4.0 1.0 -2.0)) Returns: #<Complex 123456>

The second complex vector is defined.

(setq B #(cpx| 1.0 2.0 1.0 -2.0)) Returns: #<CpxVector 123456>

The imaginary part of the first Complex Number is greater than that of the second complex Number.

(compareLE A B) Returns: false

Notes and Hints

If you prefer an Integer resulting from the comparison , use the compare function.
